Manual Handling Instructor Refresher Training Course
This Manual Handling Instructors Refresher Course is intended for fully qualified QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructors and assessors. When an instructor needs to refresh their instructional and assessor skills this is the course for you. A QQI refresher course takes place at least every five years.
The manual handling instructors refresher course topics include but are not limited to: manual handling techniques, ergonomics, risk assessment, assessor skills, train the trainer modules, etc.

Assessment : Written examination, project and practical assessment

Course Objectives
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Assess the relevant danger or safety of manual handling tasks
- Recommend preventative measures which can reduce the risk of injury
- Lift and handle loads safely
- Identify ergonomic risks and recommend control measures
- Instruct others on the theory and techniques of safe manual handling
Target Audience
This course is intended for QQI Level 6 certified Manual Handling Instructors who should refresh their instructional skills every five years.
Attendees must be a minimum of 18 years old.
