Why Become a Manual Handling Instructor?

Bring Manual Handling Training In-House

Many organisations regularly need manual handling training for employees, particularly in sectors such as construction, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and retail.

  • Having a qualified instructor within the organisation allows businesses to:
  • Deliver training when it suits their schedule
  • Train new staff immediately
  • Provide refresher training without additional cost
  • Maintain consistent safety standards across teams

Rather than relying on external providers each time training is required, organisations can develop internal expertise that supports long-term workplace safety.

Create a New Business Opportunity

Manual handling training is one of the most widely required safety courses across Irish workplaces. Because of this, there is consistent demand for qualified instructors who can deliver professional training to companies.

Many learners complete this course with the intention of starting their own training service, delivering manual handling courses to local businesses, contractors and organisations.

This programme provides the knowledge and practical experience needed to design and deliver manual handling training programmes that meet workplace requirements.
