QQI Safety and Health At Work Course
The FETAC Safety and Health At Work (5N1794) five day course is designed to provide people with the key information necessary to promote health and safety within their organisation on a day-to-day basis.
Course Overview
Duration: 5 Days
Participants: Up to 15 participants
Assessment: 2 short written assignments and a short written exam
Accreditation: FETAC level 5 component Certificate in Health and Safety at Work (5N1794)- awarded by QQI
Learners will be able to apply the principles and procedures of health and safety, through an understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment process. This course will provide the learner with the modern approaches on how to include health and safety into management systems as well as how to manage and control common hazards and risk management. Learners will become very familiar with the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and associated regulations.
